About SVaaS
A technology consultancy based in Aalbeke, near Kortrijk in Belgium. We help organizations, teams and individuals solve software and technology challenges — practically, and in a way that still holds up years later.
What we are
SVaaS was founded in 2021 and builds on twenty-five years of designing, building and modernizing software for companies and government organizations. We work for large organizations with platforms thousands of people depend on, for smaller companies that need one good tool, and for individual entrepreneurs and professionals who need technical expertise they do not have in house.
In practice the work comes down to three things: making existing software better and more current, building new software that fits how an organization actually works, and thinking along when a technical choice carries a lot of weight.
We do the work ourselves. Whoever draws the architecture also writes code, does analysis and sits at the table with the people who have to work with the result. That keeps proposals realistic and decisions traceable.
Our promise
Whether it is a large modernization project or a smaller business tool, we focus on solutions that deliver real value.
An engagement is not interesting because it is large, but because it solves something. A tool that saves someone two hours of manual work every week is time as well spent as a platform an entire sector runs on.
So we ask what it is really about first. Sometimes the answer is smaller than expected. If an existing package or a simple change is enough, we say so.
